Sommer, Sonnen, Sandstrand: Am Murner See ist Urlaubsstimmung vorprogrammiert!

Lake Murn extends over an area of approximately 90 hectares, Lake Brückel has about 140 hectares. Both lakes have bathing water quality, whereas their ph-value is called acidic. After the foundation of the administrative union “Oberpfälzer Seenland”, new steps were made towards a more effective use of the lake area for tourist purposes. All around the lakes, attractive facilities are created, e.g. a campsite, a summer residence colony, the “Theatron” with adjacent lawn and bathing areas, a restaurant and a kiosk. Several water sports clubs also built their club houses at the lakesides. Very closely to the
lakes, there is a golf course, a cart facility, and an airfield for model planes. Furthermore, a large conservation and preserve area can be found nearby. Thus, the visitor does not only receive fun and action, but also silence and relaxation.
