Summer Sound" invites you to unforgettable concert evenings on the first four Thursdays of the summer vacation. The program is aimed at all those who want to enjoy the vacations at home, get in the mood for the vacations musically or extend the vacation feeling a little longer.
"Summer Sound" kicks off on 3 July on the station forecourt in Bohmte. The three brothers from "HinzHochDrei" have been thrilling audiences with rousing live shows since 2006. With vocals, guitar, bass and drums - or sometimes "unplugged" - they bring a varied repertoire to the stage. From the Beatles to Michael Jackson to Rihanna, the program promises the best musical entertainment.
The crowning finale of the new "Summer Sound" series will be a special highlight on 24 July: the Wallenhorst band "Waschbrettbauch" will provide the best musical entertainment on the Bohmter station forecourt. The ten-piece formation, known for its humorous band name and unusual instruments, uses grandma's old washboard as a rhythm instrument, among other things. With acoustic guitars, banjos, accordion, tea chest bass, tenor horn, drum set and washboard, the band combines country, rock'n'roll, folk, punk, dixie and blues in a unique sound. With their energetic performance and unmistakable sound, the "10 fine gentlemen in black and white" promise an unforgettable concert evening to round off the series.
