Many cultural and gourmet festivals and the historic Christmas market also take place in the old town. The Tourist Information for Osnabrück and the Osnabrück region is located at the back of the historic town hall and right next to the 4-star Romantikhotel Walhalla, which celebrated its 325th anniversary in 2015.
