Nature Trail

The Seelensteig provides deep insights into the unsuspected self-healing powers of our nature.

A varied natural forest arises out of former forestry woodlands. Events, such as windthrow and bark beetle accelerate this unique forest regeneration process. In order to enable the experience of this newborn wild forest, a typical spruce-fir-beech mixed mountain forest was tapped by wooden footbridges and staircases in the summer of 1995. No tree was felled - natural forest dynamics take precedence. Along the way, there are wooden panels that are intended to stimulate reflection - or simply to unwind.
