Bathing fun at Mooswaldsee – A natural idyll between Günzburg and Riedhausen.
Surrounded by large trees, the southern Mooswaldsee West invites visitors to swim and sunbathe. Pure nature awaits guests on the expansive lounging areas, offering both sunny and shaded spots. There are no sandy areas in the water, as the lake is a gravel lake. Swimming with dogs is allowed at the northern Mooswaldsee East. The two idyllic lakes, located between Günzburg and Riedhausen, provide a peaceful environment for relaxation.
Directions: Coming from Günzburg, take the next left turn after the Camping Gutshof Donauried.
Important Note: The bathing areas in the Günzburg city area are natural lake bathing spots without lifeguards or infrastructure. Therefore, swimming is at your own risk and is not recommended for non-swimmers.
