Witnesses to 4,000 years of city history at the Günzburg Local History Museum.

The Günzburg Local History Museum offers over 600 square meters of insights into the region's more than 4,000-year history. The historical spectrum spans from archaeological finds from the Roman era to the opera dress of the famous soprano Diana Damrau. Highlights include the Emperor Gallery, which sheds light on Roman coins and their propaganda, as well as objects from the Habsburg era and the bourgeois century. Sacred art and works by Günzburg artists who shaped religious and cultural life complement the diverse collections, making history tangible.
