Söhlbruch
The Söhlbruch Nature Reserve - A primeval forest in the middle of the Lüneburg Heath
The small nature reserve Söhlbruch, not far from Bispingen in Hützel, is an insider's tip for all those who want to be close to pristine nature. An untouched alder quarry forest with numerous spring water streams lets visitors immerse themselves in another world. The escaping water constantly carries fine sand with it and has created an incomparable erosion valley. A small hiking trail with a length of 1.3 km leads around the breathtaking Söhlbruch.
Nature conservation: The Söhlbruch is designated as a nature reserve to preserve its exceptional beauty and ecological importance. It is important to protect this unique ecosystem and respect its fragile habitats.
Access to the Söhlbruch and the hiking trail are not barrier-free.
