Entertaining evenings and exciting plays for all age groups are hosted at the theatre pub “Zum Hanswurst” and the Kellertheater (basement theatre). The annual Puppet Theatre Days bring curious visitors to Gelenau.

With the aid of their versatile cast of “little artists”, Helga and Frank Hübner have put on shows all over the world. At their local theatre in Gelenau, they continue the old Saxon tradition and perform all kinds of different plays for all ages.
